Testimonials

The benefits of FunWorks™ often extend past the area of "work". Other benefits include creating a balance in life, and unleashing the energy available in focusing on ourselves and our purpose. FunWorks™ opens up new possibilities for young and old. Take a look at the change these folks experienced.....

More than work - all of my life can work now!

"Experiencing FunWorks with Dave and Wendy has empowered me to see possibilities in my life that I had not considered previous to this process.

I now have a greater awareness of what works for me and what doesn't. I feel like my eyes are now wide open and my ears listen more keenly. Some of the assumptions that I have made along the way concerning my goals in life were not easily apparent to me and now it's easier to look at how I "think" things will happen and why.

I can now take responsibility for my own life and how I create what happens when I am not having fun with it. FunWorks is not just about "work", it's about life.

I have walked through some pretty strong fears during this process and felt fully supported and accepted so I used that power to act instead of standing still in it. An example would be my body. I have been overweight for many years, struggling with looking at the fear that created the weight. Wendy helped me to feel my fear and work right through so I can release that energy and use it to take care of me. As of today, I have let go of 16 lbs. and know that I can have the body I want. FunWorks does just that; it works and it's fun!

In deepest gratitude, Bridgette Kossor"

Youth In Business - an Educator's Experience
by Linda Borock

"I never thought about work this way. The workshop changed my whole way of thinking... it changed my life!" is just one of the many excitement-filled quotes that come back to us after David and Wendy Watson-Hallowell present FunWorks at Minds On. The mission of Minds On is to enhance classroom learning through "real life" challenges directed by creative experts. David and Wendy exude enthusiasm and belief in their young charges as they guide them through the steps to channel individual preferences into money- making enterprises and career potential. No wonder that when we decided to take Minds On The Road, FunWorks was selected to be in our initial offerings!

The students respond, the teachers absorb and I, as director, am impressed by the effort Dave and Wendy expend to make each participant aware that he or she "can have it all."

Unexamined Life Wasn't Working
by Robert Penna

"Going through this program was an amazing learning experience for me, turning a skeptic into a convert. I found that while I was so busy living my life, I had never really taken the time to examine my life. David and Wendy showed me the disproportion between the areas of my life into which I was pouring the most energy, and the portions from which I was drawing the most satisfaction. Getting those two life segments into balance was a major step. I would recommend this program for anyone who feels that their life is out of balance, that he or she is putting in a lot and not getting much back. I came out of it with a plan and a roadmap. Whether I stick to it is ultimately up to me; but they did their part by helping me see the most promising path. The results were evident almost immediately...and for that I am very grateful."

Girl Scouts Learn Their True Power
by Jocelyn Corkhill

"FunWorks was an amazing experience for 10 young women (13 year olds).

They began to recognize that they have the power to make a difference in their own lives, and the lives of others. With Wendy and Dave's support and encouragement they aimed for the moon, and reached it!
The group set a lofty goal to make $1,500 by selling the chocolate candy they all love to eat. They learned that what they love to do had value toward the goal and realized that everyone on a team brings something unique and exciting to a project.
What I am most proud of is their hearts. Not only did they achieve their goal they made a difference in their community by giving back to those in need. FunWworks taught them much more than what was on the flip charts, and in the role playing games; it taught them that they are all fantastic, powerful, loving young women."
